How do we do what we do?

Well, we prefer to actually see folks, here in the shop, or out there on the trail. The internet is a wonderful thing, but sometimes it all gets a little impersonal and isolated - that's no fun. All the things we stock and sell can be seen, touched, stroked and generally test ridden - all it takes is a little visit and some personal interaction. We don't want millions of customers, clicking boxes and waiting for widgets to arrive by post - we want to build relationships and have fun with our customers. That's difficult to do in the virtual world. If you really can't make it to the shop, then we do mail order - only we do it how we like it to be done. We talk to you about what you want, we don't sell you what won't suit and we don't just take orders and then get stuff in. We like to be able to process and ship your order the same day where possible. The nature of our business means that sometimes we're out of the exact thing you need, but we try to keep outages to a minimum and we'll always give you an expected delivery date.
One of the things we least like to do is send complete bikes out to folk. That's no way to buy a bike, you need to be confident that the fit and operation of the bike is the best it can be - it's very difficult to get that right when buying by post. We'd much rather you came and saw us, stuck around for a while, maybe go for a ride and we can all get to know each other a little better. If there's no way you can do that, then we will endeavor to make the process as pain free as possible.

We have a fully equipped, if small and scruffy, workshop too - so if your bike needs looking after, from a simple tune up to full shock and brake servicing, we can handle the job, professionally and quickly.
