Terms and Conditions

Small Print - who needs it? We all do, that way we know what to do when things get hokey.

Payment We take all major credit and debit cards, you can pay by cheque, cash or electronic transfer. If paying by card - use the telephone. We do not offer a secure way to take card details via the internet. If paying by cash, do it in person - or use a Royal Mail Special Delivery and pay for the extra insurance to cover the amount of cash. We accept no liability for payments lost on the post. If paying by cheque, allow seven working days for the bank to clear the funds - we'll not dispatch goods until the money is in our bank. If paying by transfer, call or mail us for the relevant account details - goods despatched when funds have landed.

Delivery We have a flexible delivery policy and use either Royal Mail or FedEx depending on size and value of the order. Postage charges are minimal and often don't cover the cost of actaully posting the order. Please ask for details of postage charges at time of order.

Returns Distance selling regulations dictate that as a consumer you can return any un-used goods for any reason, within seven days.  You are fully liable for any return postage costs and any postage charged will be deducted from any refund given. If you don't want it, don't buy it in the first place. This does not apply for goods that have been custom built or specially ordered for you.

Deposits We accept deposits in good faith, they are part of a contract of sale between us and you. All deposits are final and will not be refunded for any reason other than our cock up. If you order something and put a deposit on it, then we will honour our part of the contract. If you change your mind, you forfeit your deposit.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrectly Supplied Goods Occasionally mistakes happen, in these cases, contact us immediately and we will make it all better. If the goods are damaged or we send you a sack of coal instead of a pair of gloves, then we'll pay your return postage. Call us to figure out the best course of action - we want to help.

Privacy We value your custom, so the last thing we're going to do is sell your details to some unscrupulous third party. We don't keep any information about you on any kind of electronic medium, mainly because we process orders with good old fashioned pen and paper. You're welcome to see what details we keep on file about you - but it's only address, order details and your card number (we're obliged to keep these details for at least six months anyway).
